When this screen-used Jeepers Creepers truck was acquired, it was a shadow of its former self — decades of weathering, storage, and the natural decay of time in the salty air of Central Florida had taken their toll on the vehicle that once terrorized audiences worldwide.

The restoration mission was clear: return the truck to its exact screen-accurate condition as seen in the films, preserving every detail that made it one of horror's most recognizable props while ensuring it captured its movie character, making it terrifying, and dangerously fast. It was also preserved, to ensure it would be available for fans of all ages for years to come.

Stripped down to bare metal, the truck surrendered every secret it had been hiding — rust carved deep into the cowl, above the windshield, and through the kick panels, all of it cut out and rebuilt from nothing. Between the frame rails, an entirely new drivetrain was fabricated from scratch: powerful enough to command attention, refined enough to be trusted. Power steering, power brakes, disc brakes — the kind of muscle that makes a two-ton beast feel alive under your hands. Then came four months of paint. Layer by careful layer, the iconic scheme was rebuilt using hardened automotive materials, matched frame-by-frame to what appeared on screen. When the last coat dried, it wasn’t just restored — it was resurrected.

Every decision made during the restoration process was guided using frame-by-frame reference from the films, production photographs, and consultation with those who worked on the original builds.
